Colour Run 2024

Despite the ominous forecast and the wild weather an hour before the event started, the sun shone as the children and their families arrived at the recreation ground!

Everyone milled around, played in the park area and bought refreshments as we got everyone registered.

We kicked off the event with an energetic warm-up session led by Chloe who had everyone on their feet and ready to begin the run!

Next, the children ran the water gauntlet while the adults, armed with water guns and cups of water, soaked them!

We then made our way to our starting points on the colour run course. Once we quickly decided which way around the course we were running, we set off - running through clouds of colour and navigating various obstacles along the way! Both adults and children loved throwing colour powder at each other and the obstacles added an extra challenge - everyone did really well!

This wasn’t a fundraising event, yet we raised nearly £200 which is great.

Thank you to everyone who participated, brought their energy and enthusiasm, and helped with the clean-up.

We’re already looking forward to Colour Run 2025!
